Polish luthier. Violin making studied at The Violin Making Technical School in Nowy Targ. He practiced violin making at F. Mardula workshop in Zakopane, V. Blay in Dortmund, J. Kun in Ottawa and G. Batta Morassi in Cremona. Winner and gold medalist on International Luthier`s Competition in 1993 Prague, 1997 Nachod, 1998 Moscow. Second prize: 1991 Poznan, 1997 Nachod, 2013 Dolny Kubin. Third prize: 2002 and 2007 Moscow.
He won many other prizes: 6 times award of the highest violin making qualities, 3 times in the category for the best sounds of instruments.
Repeatedly member of jury of international competitions for luthiers:
2004 Nachod, 2006 Poznań, Dolny Kubin, Cremona, 2007 Dolny Kubin, 2008 Nachod, Dolny Kubin, 2011 Dolny Kubin, 2016 Poznań, 2018 Malta.
In 2014 president of jury of Polish Violin-making Competition.
Member of Polish Luthier`s Association and active activist – currently member of head.
In his life has built about 310 instruments: 260 violins, 40 violas, 11 cellos, inspired by Stradivarius art, which is used by musicians worldwide. At the moment leading his workshop in Jelenia Góra, Poland.
